Hi, I’m Dara! My favorite part of working at the SSP Public Library is connecting with our community. I love helping people find the information they need and books they will love. For me, reading is my source of comfort, rest and joy. I am always reading something! Genres I tend to check out include domestic fiction, memoirs, YA, and loads of children’s chapter and picture books to read aloud with my family. Happy reading!

Hello, I'm Sarah and I love working at the SSP Public Library. It's wonderful being surrounded by books all day, getting to know our patrons, and helping them find that next book they are looking for. For me, reading is a source of pleasure, solace and inspiration. The genres I tend to check out most are: classic novels, cookbooks, international literature, memoirs, Christian spiritual writing, and lots of books for my kids!

Hi! I'm Amy and I'm the Youth Services Librarian. I've been working for South St. Paul for 10 years and have enjoyed getting to know so many people throughout the community and support their reading and learning interests. Because of my role at the library, I am familiar with and read a variety of books for babies, children, and teens, but when I'm reading for fun I look for suggestions from Anne Bogel, otherwise known as Modern Mrs. Darcy, "green lights" from The Popcast with Knox and Jamie, and always have a romance novel or two checked out in my eBook app.

I'm Lois, hello! I love working at SSP Public Library and meeting all of you. You are what makes this place special! This is a second career for me. I used to work with numbers (bookkeeping) and now I get to work with books! I have always loved to read and escape into the world created by an author. My favorite genres are Mystery, Science Fiction and Historical Fiction. I love anything British, books and TV shows. For Non-Fiction my favorites are Science and History. I am happy to share suggestions. It is wonderful to see the excitement in your eyes when we can hook you up with a new book or show!

Hello! I'm Mainhia, and I love learning, literacy, and lattes. I'm so happy to be a part of the SSP Public Library community and to help share my love of library usage. I read to gain knowledge, experience, inspiration, and joy. My favorite genres are memoirs, Asian-American/Asian literature, spiritual, and domestic fiction.
